About the Affordable Housing Index /

Access to affordable housing is a major crisis of our time for many reasons related to income inequality, outdated zoning, cost of construction, and more. The decades to come will continue to see urban growth around the world as economic opportunity centers around cities.

The Affordable Housing Index looks to spark the public's imagination by exploring creative housing solutions from around the globe around three key themes:

policy innovation
original design
financial incentives

We encourage visitors to suggest new content for the affordable housing index.

People behind AHI / It started with a simple idea about one of the biggest challenges fo our time.
